Our Mommy & Me classes are designed for the youngest dancers ages 18-mos to 3-years old and focus on introduction to basic ballet & tap steps, creative movement, music awareness, singing and fun with Mommy while becoming accustomed to the atmosphere of the dance studio. These classes are 45-minutes in length.

This fourty five minute class combines Pre-Ballet and Tap with Musical Theatre and voice. The focus of this class is to introduce basic ballet and tap technique while learning terminology and building self-confidence through praise and individual achievements. Broadway Babies will also learn how to introduce themselves & sing simple nursery rhyme songs and their ABC's on the microphone at the end of each class. They are also featured in our annual dance showcase at the historic Capitol Theatre each June. .

At this level, dancers are learning Ballet, Tap and Jazz in a combination class that is designed to introduce the basics in technique, terminology and the FUN of DANCE! The class is 90-minutes long and offers the Diamonds many opportunities to express themselves through music and dance while learning new steps each week. Routines are learned in all three segments of the class and featured at our annual dance showcase at the historic Capitol Theatre in June. The class ends with each dancer's self introduction and singing their own special songs on the microphone.

Star dancers are given the opportunity to train in Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Hip-Hop where they will receive the most up to date styles and teaching methods in each area. Each class is 45-minutes in length and focuses on building a solid knowledge of dance techniques and terminology in a positive and upbeat environment. We offer Level 1-2 classes for beginners and Level 3-4 classes for Intermediate and Advanced Dancers. Star dancers may choose to take all or select classes and are featured each June in our annual dance showcase at the Capitol Theatre and various community performances.

We offer classes in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Lyrical and Pre-Pointe to the Superstar Dancers training at Beginner through Advanced Levels. Proper stretching, strength and techniques are the focus of all classes and we promote healthy living and positive self images to all dancers. Classes are one hour in length and Superstar Dancers may choose to study in one or multiple dance styles. The Superstar dance classes all include routines that are featured in our annual dance showcase at the historic Capitol Theatre in June as well as many other community performances.

Ballet, Pre-Pointe, Pointe, Lyrical, Tap, Jazz, Turns, Leaps & Tricks and Hip-Hop are offered to the Broadway Diva Dancers training at beginner through advanced levels. Our classes are fun-filled and focus on learning proper dance technique using the most up to date styles, and developing body awareness and positive self images through the art of dance. Diva classes range in length from 45-minutes to 1-hour each. Each class includes warm-up, across the floor and center combinations and routines which are featured each year in our annual dance production at the historic Capitol Theatre in June as well as many other community performances.

We offer private and semi-private lessons to dancers of all ages. These lessons can be utilized as extra training in existing areas of focus or for solo, duo and trio routines that will be featured in our annual dance showcase at the historic Capitol Theatre in June.

Broadway Bound Dance Academy offers choreography services to individual dancers and groups such as dance and drill teams or special events. Custom choreography is based on individual or group needs and can be tailored to suit your style, ability and event.

We offer pageant coaching at Broadway Bound with proven success with our many existing and former students who are current or past pageant titleholders including the 2004 Miss Teen Washington. Pageant Coaching includes public speaking/interviews, modeling and individual talent routines. Your pageant coaching can be basic or extensive, depending on your needs.

Every girl dreams of the day they get to become a cheerleader for their home teams!!  Get started early at Broadway Bound with our NEW and EXCITING "Spirit" Recreational Cheer Squads for ages 5-12 and the "Cheer Addiction" All Star Competitive Squad for ages 13&up.

The "Spirit" squads practice once a week for an hour and learn both dance routines (jazz & hip-hop) and cheers.  They perform throughout the year at many of BBDA's Community events. 

The "Cheer Addiction" squad practices 2-hours each week and travel to regional Cheer Competitions

All squad members are outfitted with real cheer uniforms and shoes, have fantastic metallic poms and bring a whole new meaning to the Spirit of Cheer!  Members of our squads will be more than ready to step in as a high school cheerleader given their early experience in our program. 

In the year 2000, the Dance Addiction Competition Team formed with one team of eight dancers.  Now in its 8th season, Broadway Bound Dance Academy is proudly the home of three teams consisting of twenty seven dancers.

Dance Addiction offers intermediate and advanced dancers who train in all areas of dance the opportunity to study at a higher level of intensity and participate in dance competitions around the Northwest.  Members of the Dance Addiction teams are also given many opportunities to showcase their talents around the community throughout the year.

Dance team auditions are held once a year in May or June.  During the audition process, dancers are taught a series of combinations in ballet, tap, jazz and hip hop.  They are then scored and the new teams are formed following the audition.  Once the new teams are formed, dancers train throughout the summer focusing on technique and overall strength in dance.  In the fall, weekly practices are held and choreography is learned for the upcoming competitions in the Spring which are usually held in Seattle, Tacoma and Portland.

Dance Addiction has received numerous awards at their competitions including, 1st-3rd place, Overall High Score, Best Choreography and Fabulous Feet, just to name a few.  The 2005 team attended a cash awards competition in Las Vegas, NV where they brought home over $600 for their performances!
